Awards at the ÖGP Annual Conference for the LBI-LVR

At the 43rd Annual Meeting of the Austrian Society of Pneumology (ÖGP), which took place from 10 – 12 October 2019 at the Congress Center / Reed Messe Wien, the staff of the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute and the Clinical Department of Pulmonology for Pulmonary Vascular Research were extremely successful and were able to bring five high-ranking prizes to Graz.

In addition to the awards for first and third place in the competitive scientific poster prize for basic research, one young clinical scientist received a travel grant to the international congress of the ERS (European Respiratory Society), another received this year’s ÖGP science grant and the most highly endowed research prize of the ÖGP, the Michael Neumann Memorial Prize, went to a young research team from Graz for their joint scientific publication in the highest international respiratory journal, the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine.
