Open Innovation in Science – CONNECT

NEWS:

The CONNECT project will currently take part in the „European Researchers Night“ on November 27, 2020 under the title „PatientInnen Involvierung in der Lungengefäßforschung“.

For more infromation see the link: https://researchersnight.eu/vortragskanal/

After the successful co-creation workshop in November 2019, the evaluation of the collected results was ended in February 2020. In this next phase, the prototypes will be implemented with the project partners (Copenhagen Business School (Marion Poetz), Med Uni Graz (Selma Mautner) Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Lung Vascular Research – Grazyna Kwapiszewska) and tested in by surveys in Augsut 2020. The practical implementation of the prototypes is to begin in September 2020. The prototypes serve as a template for “translating” the current research literature on the topic of fibrosis, this can be realized, for example, as a video (interview). According to the Open Innovation in Science process, patients, relatives, therapists and nurses will also be involved in the next phases of this project in order to enable the current research results to be optimally understood. The transfer of knowledge is characterized by transparency and the use of a simplified language and enables the participation of different user groups in research. The CONNECT project is intended to enable interested users to actively participate in new research projects in the form of a co-creation workshop next year.
