“PPIE CALL 2020 – Pilot Call for Public & Patient Involvement and Engagement in Research – of the Ludwig Boltzmann Gesellschaft”
The “SCIENCE4ALL” proposal of the postdoctoral researcher Dr. Valentina Biasin was selected for funding by an international panel of experts.
The aim of the project “SCIENCE4ALL” is to develop and implement a training program for and with patients/citizens. This will allow patients/citizens to become co-researchers and enable them to participate in basic fibrosis research. The researchers in this project will also be trained to incorporate new ideas from the co-researchers into current projects.
The project is conducted by the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Lung Vascular Research in cooperation with the Medical University of Graz.
