On 21 May 2019, the “Wilhelm Auerswald Prize” for the best doctoral thesis at an Austrian medical university was awarded for the 28th time at the Billrothhaus in Vienna.

Ehsan Bonyadirad, PhD, achieved sixth place for his thesis “Expression, regulation and function of ST2/IL1RL1 in growth plate chondrocytes”.
