Tissue and blood biobank/clinical data base
Our biobank collection is based on blood samples and lung tissue as well as primary cell lines from transplanted patients with pulmonary hypertension (PH), COPD or pulmonary fibrosis. In an ongoing study, we collect clinical information associated with the samples, concerning the progress of the disease up to the necessary transplantation, thus establishing a unique basis for research at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Lung Vascular Research.
