The Ludwig Boltzmann Institute (LBI) for Lung Vascular Research is an Institute of the Ludwig Boltzmann Gesellschaft (LBG) GmbH and has been established July 2010 on the basis of an international evaluation procedure of the third call of the LBG. The LBI Consortium brings together researchers and business partners in the dynamic field of lung vascular remodelling and reverse-remodelling therapy into a single, multi disciplinary and highly competitive institute. The LBI for Lung Vascular Research combines experimental know-how, innovative imaging techniques and clinical background in an integrated approach to develop and implement new diagnostic tools for non-invasive diagnosis and innovative therapeutic strategies.
